Late Victorian into Modern

In this TORCH Book at Lunchtime event, co-editors Laura Marcus (Oxford) and Kirsten Shepherd-Barr (English) discuss their new collection of essays, Late Victorian into Modern, joined by Michael Bentley (St Andrews), Charlotte Jones (Oxford) and Philip Bullock (Oxford). This collections opens up, in new and innovative ways, a range of dimensions, some familiar and some more obscure, of late Victorian and modern literature and culture, primarily in British contexts, emphasising the in-between, the gradual changeover from one period to the next.
