Toni Morrison: An Introduction

This lecture surveys the life and work of one of America’s greatest novelists, Toni Morrison (1931-2019). Discussing each of this author’s eleven novels in the context of her biography and of America’s rapidly changing history, it explores the most distinctive and powerful aspects of her urgent political themes and dazzling literary techniques.
