The titlepages are engraved. The engraved titlepage to vol.2, dated 1783, is followed by an engraved titlepage dated 1781, reading 'The journey to Snowdon'.
Ten supplemental plates with seven explanatory pages of letterpress were published to accompany the first part of vol.2.
Pennant's tour in Wales actually took place in 1773. MDCLXX was corrected by hand to MDCLXXIII on a number of copies.
